Suggested Compensation:
NAMC provides the following guidelines for “Ashodad” or “Kadr-Dani” for performing religious services as requested by the family.
- Navjote / Sedreh–Pooshi / Weddings / Gavah: $500 per Mobed per ceremony
- Jashan / Jashan–Khani / Afargan / Avesta-e-Seeom / Avesta-e-Saal: $250 per Mobed per ceremony
- Funeral Ceremonies: $250 per Mobed per ceremony.
Geh Saarnu (prayers at the funeral home), Sarosh-nu-Patru/ Karde-Soroosh, Day Uthamnu / Avesta-e-Sevom, Night Uthamnu / Avesta-e-Shaab, Chaharom / Avesta-e-Chaharom, Porseh (Memorial Service)
- Sareh Khak, Poresh: $500 per Mobed per ceremony
- Fareshta and Vendidad Ceremony: $1,501 and $2,001 respectively
- Travel and accommodation (in addition to the above amounts): Pre-paid Air ticket (or mileage) and overnight accommodation.
- Use of Association facilities and supplies as per Association regulations.
- Consideration should be given to geographical and logistical variations through North America and the financial ability of the family requesting these prayers.
Note:
NAMC will provide pro-bono religious service to Zoroastrians with financial needs in North America.
